The music and lyrics of the song tell it's a Kailash Kher's baby, not only composed, but written by him too. Got to see some rare words like chheed, sughad and baheliya in the lyrics. [In many Indian weddings, the groom comes sitting on a mare. Laddoo is an Indian delicacy and Lassi is a yoghurt like Punjabi drink. These days, Bollywood is desperately looking for new words. Some of them completely meaningless, and some where you can find some meaning. End of the day, everyone wants to be unique. One such attempt comes from Shekhar Suman's new film, Heartless.

Maashooq (or Mashooq) is an old Urdu word, a little less used these days, for a beloved. Aashiq is a lover, and the love-object is Mashooq. Now comes Mashooqana, which would mean, 'like a beloved', or 'in the style, way of a beloved'. Makes sense? Well, it's kinda desperate, but it's better than many more. You can at least find a meaning, and within one language itself.
